9. Discovering E-books: Using library e-books on portable devices
If you are using books you purchase specifically for an e-book reader such as Kindle or NOOK, the vendor for that device is the best place to go to for assistance.
OSU Libraries' e-books may be used on select devices. As a general rule, if you are using a reader that has access to the Internet via a standard browser, you should first try accessing an OSU Libraries e-book as if you were using a normal laptop or desktop.
If your browser does not support PDFs, some tools will not allow you to view content. Apps may require special setup by OSU users to recognize access.
