Any seasoned researcher will tell you that one of the best ways to find other sources about your topic is to scour the bibliographies of other sources. If an author is writing and researching about your topic or about issues and concepts related to your general focus, then the sources he or she uses will likely be useful to you. Even if a particular author’s essay does not provide the information you are looking for, the sources that the author uses may be useful to you.
